  • Place the food (steak) in a ziploc bag and zip the bag closed with a drinking straw at its corner
  • Put the ziploc bag inside a bucket of cold water and slowly push the bag into the water, keeping the corner together with the straw just above water
  • The water pressure will force the sides of the zigloc bag tightly around the food (steak)
  • After the bag completely immersed in water, pull out the straw quickly and zig the bag closed immediately
  • Vacuum is now created inside the ziploc bag

Put steak and butter (2 tsp) in the zigloc bag with the plastic straw inserted in the corner.
